71 st Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival 2019 (Choral Speaking)
.jpg) | Congratulations to our P.2 True Light students on winning the first place of Choral Speaking in the 71st Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival 2019. On Friday 29th November 2019, a group of 42 students represented True Light to compete against 12 other schools, which were all reciting the poem, “My Dog Spot by Rodney Bennett”. |
| Weeks of hard work paid off as the students practiced every week with enthusiasm. A performance that the adjudicator praised as one that “showed imagination and creativity” which was executed with “great discipline” as well. This was definitely a hard earned commendation. From understanding the poem, remembering it to using different voices and incrementally adding actions, students learned to work as team throughout the process and they showed great team effort. |  |
